About event

"Feine Katzen Orchestra" is a functioning ensemble that freely improvises. Three musicians bring with them various musical background, from traditional music to (free) jazz to contemporary classical music. They discuss various perspectives and experiment with possible approaches to improvisation, but mainly rely on their musical intuition and joint enthusiasm for creative dialogue at the moment. He is the head of the International Big Band "Anti Brain Rubber Factory" and Sextet "Tikkun". He cooperates with dance, performative, painting, theater, sculptural and other artistic disciplines. Since 2018 he has been a co -founder and co -organizer of the S.H.A.R.E project (the European Network for Creative Music and Improvised Art) and the SPIME organizer (International Improvisation Festival in Paris). Since 2016 he has been a co -founder and artistic director of the Paris team Le Fondeur de Son and the associated Fonographic label LFDS Records.

Alyona Pynzenyk is a violinist who embodies deep passion for contemporary music, free improvisation and performance. They believe that cooperation and interaction between artists is a great source of inspiration, discovery, self -reflection, mutual growth and entertainment. She was born in Ukraine and she won classical musical education first in Ukraine and then in Austria (University of Music and Music Arts in Graz). While actively participating in the classical music scene (a member of several chamber music ensembles, a substitute in Grazer Philharmoniker), Alyon's interests began to move towards contemporary music and free improvisation. This has led to a master's degree in Performance and Practice in Contemporary Music (PPCM) led by Ensemble Klangforum Wien. Since then, he has been working with well -known composers, artists, conductors and improvisers (for example, Peter Ablinger, Ernst Kovacic, Carola Bauckholt, Christoph Herndler, François Sarhan, Joëlle Herandre, Michael Fischer, Bas Wiegers and others). Currently, it acts in the ensemble as Klangforum Wien and Neuraum. Alona is also a founding member of the "CoinCide", a cooperating ensemble devoted to promoting contemporary and performative music. In connection with its strong interest in free improvisation, Alona actively participates in the scene of free improvisation in Austria (Graz, Vienna) and Italy. Inspired by her discoveries she created a unique chain of projects, starting with the "Croatian Gang" project, which is open to musicians of all focus. Viennese drummer playing with different ensembles mainly in the field of jazz and improvised music, such as DSilton, Tobias Meissl Trio, Pynzenyk/Rosilio/Duit, Tobias Pustelnik Quartett, Roman Schwaller (Lonely) Single Swinger Band, Nocz Quartet, Coastline Paradox, Georg Graewe & Sonic Fiction Orchestra. He also works with his quartet (with Robert Unterköfler, Tobias Meissl and Ivar Roban Križić) and as a solo musician on his own music.
