Ryosuke kiyasu
Ryosuke Kiyas is a Japanese legend, the most famous solo Snare drum on the ground. Since 2003 he has been almost permanently on the Tour, introduced in 55 countries. In addition to solo activities he played or played in the bands of Sete Star Sept, Kiyas orchestra or Keija Haino's Fushitsusha. He participated in more than 200 recordings on various labels around the world.
Japanese drummer Ryosuke Kiyas uses simple means: a single whirlpool or virbl and a few sticks is enough to create. However, the reaction to his live performances speaks of an extraordinary, hard -to -transmit experience. Given his background, however, it is not quite surprising. Kiyas is based on the nooks of the Japanese scene, which intersects Free Jazz, Noise and Grindcore, and has completed the recordings on the cult UTEY Records or the Czech label Korobushka, as well as a number of collaborations, including membership in the legendary Fushitsus Keiji Hain. Play both inventive and intensely in these circles is almost a necessary requirement. In Kiyasu, it means that in tense moments he attacks his virbl, pulls him to the ground and disrupts the boundaries of drum performance. It is not just a performative enrichment, but moves that actively change the sound of the drum and strengthen the hypnotic impression of the concert.
