WIEN // BEQUEM // SEBASTIAN HOCHWALLNER

Stand Up Comedy

If you fall down, you can get up again - but Sebastian Hochwallner simply stayed on the ground. After all, it's easier to get to the bottom of things there and maybe there's still a snack down here.

He used to want to change the world, but today he doesn't want anything anymore, especially no changes. His urge to do something has given way to the need not to move too much. Instead of getting going, he prefers to let everything happen. It's not all that bad and if it's not: everything could be even worse - theoretically.

Unsatisfied, he eventually made himself comfortable on his therapist's couch, who, by the way, thinks he finally has to get out of his comfort zone. In general, his notorious sarcasm is just a lack of joy in conflict. Not true: Sebastian vehemently represents his opinion, as long as it doesn't bother anyone.

The situation is serious, but you can't let it spoil all the fun.

What's comfortable is a tough battle with your inner bastard. A wild ride on a lazy donkey who identifies as a unicorn. A well-rounded affair, with rough edges. A gag fireworks display full of self-irony, dry humor and subtle joke. Some of his punchlines are so well hidden that he has to search for them himself.

"Sebastian Hochwallner has only written one joke in his career, which was unusually long: his previous career" - anonymous hater

"I'm not lazy, at most stubborn!"-Donkey

"Do you really read event descriptions to the end?"-Sebastian Hochwallner
