ROMANZA BRAVA - The Wild Romance Legacy

Romanza Brava is the new continuation of and tribute to the iconic Dutch rock band Wild Romance. Under this new band name, Herman's hits and the rocking later work of the Wild Romance are kept alive on national and international stages and festivals. Since '76 it was Herman Brood's backing band, but after Herman's death in 2001 it became quiet for a while. A decade later the band was revived, with several of Brood's veterans playing along. A rockumentary about an upcoming tour with Nina Hagen resulted in renewed success and "Buying The Band" became the ultimate cult hit of rockumentaries. What followed were many club, theater and festival shows. In 2025, guitar legend Dany Lademacher passed away and David Hollestelle continued on his own. For the rest of the band, this was the time to continue under the previously used name Romanza Brava. In August 2025, Too Much Is Never Enough was released: the third and last album under the name Wild Romance and a beautiful tribute to Dany Lademacher: it is his last, he co-wrote the songs and has provided the new album with the necessary allure with his unique style.
