Since 2014, Wild Strings Trio has been enthralling audiences at concerts and festival stages across Europe, South America and Asia. It consists of Slovak jazz violinist Petra Onderufová, French classical cellist Toby Kuhn and Slovak guitarist with Balkan roots Aleksander Kuzmic. They were united by their passion for music, strong friendship and a common desire to create an original sound without genre boundaries.
Their music combines Balkan rhythms, jazz, classics, Celtic motifs, flamenco and elements of rock and metal and transforms them into a unique and energetic musical experience. The connection of folklore, improvisation and complex arrangements gives rise to music that is virtuoso, playful and full of emotions.
In Slovakia and Slovenia they have gained fans at the festivals LENT, JEFF, Noč v Stari Ljubljani, Fjúžn Festival, Poleti v Lendavi, Floating Castle Festival and many others. others. Their international performances include prestigious events such as Rudolstadt Festival (Germany) - the largest world music festival in the country, Umefolk Festival (Sweden), Musicas del Mundo (Chile, Colombia), Sharq Taronalari Festival (Uzbekistan), Fajr Festival (Iran), Nanjing Jazz Festival (China), FIMU Festival (France) and others. In addition, they completed several successful tours in Western and Central Europe.
The group has two albums released under the label Celinka - Lost Weekend and Bendjistan.
