Who organizes the event: Jirka Lichteneger & Mill Vaňkátová. A couple of adventurers and polarists testing their relationship in extreme conditions. We are the founders of the Winter Academy project and the Winter Adventure Festival Jimi's Fest. Jirka's first polar experience dates back to 2005, when he spent 21 days without support in the wilderness on the turntable. Together we started to take a winter expedition for the Arctic Circle in 2022, when we switched the 450 km long route Kung end. Since then, we have over 1,250 km on skis, harnessing into the straps and stretching expedition sled, where we have all our equipment.
