Winter Solstice Eve 2024 - XIII. stoleti, Orkrist, Galadriel, Talebringer

Summary info about the concert:

1.) Timetable
18:00 – 18:15 opening of the club
18:30 – 18:55 Talebringer
19:20 – 20:00 Galadriel

The line-up of bands (despite the fact that we rejected other interested parties) will be enriched by a short set by the local young melodic metal band Talebringer. It's a friendly help and a gesture to the band of our "bednak", so that even young strangers can get a chance. (don't carry bitcoins 😊)

3.) Everything about the club: smoking / drinking / standing versus sitting / sitting< br/>Smoking: Smoking is generally prohibited in the club and in the building - you can outside in front of the building.
Drinking: The bar is in the club, be careful - the glasses are backed up, do not throw them away. The standard applies = ban on bringing your own alcohol + behave decently within the standards.
Standing versus sitting: You stand in the club (the balcony will not be open), but there is definitely somewhere to sit around during breaks between bands. Come according to your preferences (see timetable)
Satna: On the ground floor (in the building behind the main entrance, straight ahead / slightly down on the right side), there is a satna where you can store your things (valuables at your own risk). The service is for a fee.

4.) Information for visitors outside of Bratislava – transport, logistics, accommodation. free on Saturday) in the streets around Karpatská Street. Attention - parking on sidewalks is prohibited in Bratislava (allowed only if places on the sidewalks are marked)
For those who arrive by train - the club is within walking distance of the main station - 5 minutes.
For those arriving by bus - line c 40 from the bus station. (direction Hlavna stanica, stop "Karpatska")
No one by air or by boat, there is no shuttle service this time either 😊.

Accommodation - you can find a hill on booking. Stan's little town will not be open 😊

This is how 20 years ago the last yearbook of traditional winter solstice concerts by local groups Galadriel, Ethereal Pandemonium and Orkrist, with occasional guests. At the end of the year, three closely related, but also competing bands always come together to put on the best local metal concert in Bratislava. A cult event of its time, where the attendance climbed from the initial 300 people to 600-800 in the last two years. At that time and until then, something unseen in the metal underground.

This year we will try to symbolically bring you this evening again, even if in a different time, with different pitfalls and with more humble expectations. But with one surprise from beyond the borders.

The joint appearance of flood groups is no longer possible today, but as the main star we will bring you a Czech legend - XIII. centuries. Hearing people sing cult excerpts of songs like "Elizabeth, your bloody way to God seems like a sin, ...." gives chills. Those who have seen, know, and those who have not, have a unique dream.
We will be glad to see those who remember the old WSE abbreviation, but also the younger ones.
