Would you like to make an impact with your company in December? Help the fight against loneliness and connect with the elderly and guide them through the Christmas market!

Coming winter organizes NL Cares the third edition of the WinterFAIR in the Amsterdam Hallen. Once again this year, the location will be transformed into a winter wonderland where more than 400 lonely elderly people can enjoy a pleasant morning or afternoon. This is important, because in the Netherlands as many as 33% of elderly people experience feelings of loneliness, which can increase during the holidays. Therefore, join us on Wednesday 11, Thursday 12 or Friday 13 December and guide the elderly during a morning or afternoon full of music, fun activities and colorful Christmas stalls.

Give the elderly a unforgettable day by visiting the WinterFAIR together!

• Register with your company and/or team and we will pair you with one or more elderly people. Together you will experience a pleasant day full of winter joy and help reduce loneliness.
• Get started at a market stand. making Christmas cards / pieces, baking poffertjes or another stall.
• If you are unable to be present yourself, you can still contribute to this heart-warming initiative. Do this by making a donation from e.g. items such as goodie bags, raffle prizes, fleece blankets, or a nice amount of money. Your contribution makes a world of difference!

What we ask:

• A team of 10 volunteers
• Half a day from you time on Wednesday 11 or Friday 13 December
• Morning: 9:15 AM - 1:30 PM
• Afternoon: 1:30 PM - 5:30 PM
• A participation fee of €1600 excl. VAT per team of 10 people
• Or a donation

With the financial contribution from companies, we cover the costs of the WinterFAIR and ensure that more than 400 elderly people can participate free of charge. We ensure that the elderly go home with a well-filled stomach, goodie bag and beautiful memories!

• Help out at one of the market stalls. Make Christmas cards/pieces, bake pancakes etc.
• If you are unable to attend in person, you can still contribute to this heartwarming initiative. You can do so by donating items such as goodie bags, lottery prizes, fleece blankets, or a nice amount of money. Your contribution will make a world of difference!
