Mo’Voce
"Mo" is an African-American abbreviation for the word "more" and is a reference to "Three Tenors", "Mo' Better Blues" and our love for who we are. "Voce" is Italian for voice.
Mo’Voce is known for his powerful voices, strong harmonies and soulful arrangements. Mo’Voce is a combination of exceptional classical and pop singers Sarai Cole, Frank Odjidja, Jeremie Johnson and Aaron Reeder. From opera and operetta to musicals, pop classics and Motown, Mo'Voce sings everything and brings his own style to every genre. This distinctive mix contributes to a Mo'Voce sound all its own and manages to delight and touch the audience every time.
International soprano Sarai Cole is a rising star in the opera world. Ms. Cole has won numerous awards and has also received fellowships from Wagner societies throughout the United States. She has spent considerable time touring South America, Canada and throughout Europe, singing concerts and solo recitals. Sarai is very happy to be a part of Mo’Voce.
Frank Odjidja, a native of Berlin, is a singer, dancer and actor. He began his career in international theater productions, including productions of Cats, West Side Story and Jesus Christ Super Star. Frank has also performed in opera houses across Europe. He looks forward to the wonderful and exciting opportunities that singing with Mo'Voce brings.
Aaron Reeder, winner of the Actor's Equity Association's Roger Sturtevant Musical Theater Award, is a Berlin-based performer and creative strategist. He performs regularly with the Washington National Opera.
After working with the Smithsonian Institute, he developed "Beyond the Lights: Discovering Sammy Davis Jr." This work provides a unique insight into the life, work and contribution of the "World's Greatest Entertainer" to American culture.
Born and raised in Dubai, Jeremie Johnson performed very early in his life at various events and theatrical performances in front of a wide audience, including the Dubai Royal Family. He was the winner of the first national singing competition “Best Of The Best” in the UAE, which further promoted his career as a musician. Jeremie was in the final of BBC “The Next Big Thing”, where he came second.
He works with various organizations and campaigns to organize events on the topics of diversity and youth violence prevention.
Elisabeth Baumann studied piano and regularly performs with various instrumental formations. She recently performed with Mo’Voce in the Chamber Music Hall.
