About event
What's it about es?
On November 3, 2025, the Berlin House of Representatives passed Germany's first concrete climate adaptation law without any dissenting votes, thereby creating the legal basis for a heat- and weather-resistant city. This means that we, at BaumEntscheid e.V., have achieved our goal a year earlier than expected.
But what exactly does the law mean for Berliners? Will everyone soon be able to plant a tree on their doorstep? What doubts and obstacles stand in the way of implementing the law? Is there no money left for daycare centers and schools? And where are all the trees supposed to go anyway?
What can you expect?
- Introduction to the new Climate Adaptation Act – understandable and practical
- Answers to the most frequently asked questions from our community
- Open discussion with you:
How do you benefit personally?
What changes do you want in your neighborhood?
What do you expect from us after the early success? - Ending together with mulled wine, children's punch and vegan patisserie in a cozy atmosphere in the Patagonia Store
Why this evening is important:
Climate adaptation is not just one political process - it affects our neighborhood, our routes to school or work and our immediate health.
Our 10th BaumSalon offers space to understand how the new law works, what is now coming to Berlin and how we can work together to ensure that it is implemented consistently and fairly.
We are looking forward to starting the new year with you and our 10th BaumSalon!
