American India rock band Wombo is preparing for Prague's Café in the forest. Already 21 November 2025 will present a bunch of Louisville show full of dreamy melodies, inspired by surrealist stories and fantasy motifs. At the same time, it will bring the planned album Danger in Fives, which will be released on 8 August. Tickets for 360,- on sale from 23 May 2025 11:00 in GoOut.net.
Wombo is the American India rock band from Louisville in Kentucky, known for its unique connection of post-punk, art rock and psychedelia. The band was founded in 2016, when the former members of the punk-pop band The Debauchees, Sydney Chadwick (bass, singing) and Cameron Lowe (guitar) connected with drummer Joel Taylor. Their music is characterized by its unique, experimental approach, hypnotic melodies and lyrical lyrics inspired by surrealistic stories. However, because Wombo music is often described as the merger of India rock, art rock and post of punk, their tendencies to experiment were reflected on other albums, BlossomlookSdownuponus and successful fairs Rust. It is inspired by Washington Irving and the Grimm brothers, and has gained a number of positive reviews from music critics, including Pitchfork.
