About event
Second, third and fourth generation Moluccan female artists explore their identity and roots, inspired by stories from their ancestors and role models from Moluccan history. From the spirit of freedom fighter and resistance heroine Martha Christina Tiahahu (1800–1818) they bring a powerful tribute to her legacy.
With music, dance, ghost and storytelling, various artists give new life to Martha Christina's story. They connect her struggle with their own perspectives on hope, courage, strength and the constant search for freedom and justice.
An intimate evening full of art, resistance and connection.
Program
Start: 19:00 hrs
End: 9 p.m.
