With Jamaican Jazz and tangible reggae grooves, Wood in Di Fire bring dancehall to romp at their live sessions. What started as a JAM project of musicians from various Berlin bands has developed into a firm formation. But the idea of session is still alive: the band members and guests bring a wide variety of influences from reggae, jazz, ska, latin and Afro beat and always ensure surprising kicks.
In numerous tours through Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Hungary and Switzerland, Wood in the Fire delighted their audience with their extraordinary, intercontinental, musical merger on driving reggae beats and jazzy grooves.
Since the project started in 2000, Wood in di Fire traditionally played in Berlin's "chocolate". The reggae jam, which is still taking place monthly today, quickly became an insider tip for the established date of the Berlin reggae scene.
