How is it dancing when the company is shaking? How to find a common language between what is “ours” and what is perceived as “other”? It examines what happens when the current dance encounters folklore - not in an effort to put them against each other, but to understand them as two forms that carry memory, rhythm, identity and natural need for contact. Dancers and dancers from local folklore groups are also involved in the process and expert consultations are led by ethnologist Barbora Morong. The artistic child of Slovak dancer Soni Ferienčíková focuses on the creation and production of new dance works of young Slovak artists working at home and abroad. It is particularly interested in the current dance connecting the disciplines of Performing Arts, the dance movie, the video art and the site Specific Performance. It also initiates the creation of new works and is open to the idea of ​​artists from all spheres.
