Presentation of work in progress by the residents of the Temporary Company.
Prison Season is an author's production on the border between physical and drama theater, which is based on the authentic statements of women after their experience in prison. By means of a fragmentary, documentary-tuned structure, she explores the fragility of identity formed and disrupted by a system that both limits and provides the illusion of safety.
At the center of the production stand two female performers enclosed in the space of a cell — a living organism that shapes their bodies, relationships and internal rhythms. Between the well-defined order and the openness of the outside world, a state of uncertainty develops, in which freedom becomes a demanding process of re-learning. The production thus creates a scenic essay about the ambivalence of returning to reality, where taking over one's own existence is not a matter of course, but a fragile and constantly changing task.
