A workshop for dynamic, improvised song duets from the perspective of Kießling&Kaffka. Improvised songs are often the highlight of an entertaining improv theater evening: they can open up new levels of a story, define characters, deepen emotions, create incredible comedy and a touching tragedy at the same time. The perfect setting for this and vastly underestimated: the duet! Duets are the platform for two characters who create their very own musical performance together within a single song. They establish and negotiate their world in which they constantly reinvent and change themselves. For joint improvisation, this means being closely connected to each other in song development, listening carefully to each other, accepting offers in the shortest possible time and giving courageous impulses. The use of various techniques such as interlocking, principle play and PausePlayRepeat can help a lot. What is that? Sign up and find out.
