About event
We invite you to a pre-Christmas workshop on Safety when working with couples.
Variables clear, equation complex, result unclear. Safety, connection, contact, understanding, therapy. Security is a basic commodity for relationships. Only on it can we relax and our ANS, bodies, minds and souls can begin to create connections.
But how to maintain safety, how to strengthen safety, how to restore it? And how to get a bigger buffer, resistance or flexibility against other losses of security that come uninvited and at lightning speed. How to slow down this process is lost safety.
Some people take it for granted, some don't think about it at all, some significantly underestimate it and then they are surprised. why the therapeutic process does not go in the necessary direction. However, everyone suspects that without it they will not get a client for the necessary process.
This workshop focuses on the conscious and targeted strengthening of safety during therapy sessions, which is the cornerstone for the possibility of deeper connection, openness and authentic communication between partners. Our goal will be to understand how to create an environment in which clients feel safe during the individual stages of the therapeutic process, and how to thereby support their willingness to share openly and their ability to manage conflicts with deeper understanding. Through this workshop we will explore skills that help build a sense of safety and teach therapists to create a space where trust can grow and pain can heal. We will work with tools that not only strengthen a safe therapeutic environment, but also enable clients to consciously manage their fears and defense mechanisms...
