How not to dance only exchanges and enrich your dance vocabulary? We believe that our boogie ideas will help you!
We cordially invite you to the workshop, during which we will discuss in detail and practice several sets. Using practical examples, we will show how to better connect the figures and emphasize the music, when it is appropriate to disconnect and how to guide it or how to "store" the same content of the figures in a four-eighth and six-eighth musical structure.
Then you will have the opportunity to try everything in practice — immediately after the workshop, the first dance workshop of the season will take place on Terase Smíchov organized by Boogie Hops.
The workshop is suitable for advanced and slightly advanced students. advanced dancers who confidently master the basics of Boogie Woogie (pair contact, basic steps, figures in closed and open positions) and know how to alternate steps (footwork variations, figures for multiple times).

How can you move beyond simple moves and build a richer dance vocabulary? We believe our “Boogie Ideas” workshop will help you do just that!
We warmly invite you to join this workshop, where we will break down and practice several combinations in detail. Through practical examples, we will explore how to better combine figures, highlight the music, when it makes sense to deliberately disconnect from your partner and how to lead or signal it clearly, and how the same combinations can fit both 4-count and 6-count musical structures.
After the workshop, you'll have the opportunity to try everything out on the dance floor — the first record hop of the season at Terasa Smíchov, organized by Boogie Hops, will take place right afterwards.
This workshop is suitable for intermediate and advanced dancers who are confident with the Boogie Woogie basics (partner connection, basic steps, figures in closed and open positions) and are comfortable varying their footwork and dancing figures across multiple beats.
