In the dynamic flow of instructions, images and physical conditions, we will examine corporeality as an open and malleable tool of self -expression. Each participant will have the opportunity to listen to their body, cross their boundaries and discover new ways of movement through individual, partner and group work. In a safe and supportive environment, we will focus on contact improvisation and other physical strategies that develop Performer's presence and physical intelligence. Nico brings to his work themes of identity, queerness, pop culture and inclusion, and his approach to teaching is as open and nemierarchical as his artistic practice. The workshop is a laboratory for experiment and sharing, a place where we learn one another through movement, touch and dialogue. Border of physical expression, identity and performative experiment.
