We cordially invite you to a creative workshop where you will learn the technique of decoupage, also known as the napkin method.
Decoupage is an art technique that consists in decorating objects using motifs cut out of napkins, which are then glued to various surfaces such as wood, paper, terracotta, metal, wax, porcelain or textile1.
Decoupage comes from the French word “découper”, which means "to carve". This technique began to develop at the beginning of the 18th century in Venice, where it was used to decorate porcelain, chests of drawers and other objects.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE WORKSHOP?
You will learn the basics of decoupage and how to work correctly with napkins and glue.
You will try decoupage on a wooden box, which you will take away after the workshop home.
Creative beading of bracelets will also be part of the training.
WHO WILL ACCOMPANY THE WORKSHOP:
The great creative soul Ivana Běloušková, who has already tried several techniques in her life and with joy he passes on his experience to other creative enthusiasts, but also to amateurs who simply want to try it.

Saturday, November 9 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (with a break for lunch)
WHERE:
hamko.cz meeting room at Táborská 21, Prague 4 - Nusle (Palouček tram stop)< br/>
PARTICIPATION FEE:
CZK 2,540/person. includes
- all materials for creation
- refreshments (coffee, tea, water, fruit, dessert, pizza/salad for lunch)
REGISTRATION and MORE INFORMATION:
- minimum number of participants 5 people
- maximum number of participants 9 people
- registration takes place until October 30, 2024
- registration fee must be paid by November 1, 2024 by transfer (on the basis of the issued invoice)
- the workshop is intended for adults (if a child participates, they pay the full fee; they must be at least 6 years old and be accompanied by an adult who will take care of them)< br/>
