Blow? Or transform? Come help clean up CAMP and give things a second life at the same time. Under the guidance of experienced designers, for whom recycling is a natural part of creation, we will work with materials from exhibitions - from paper to banners to plywood and other elements of installations. You will take away your own piece of CAMP and experience how to think about materials differently.
During the workshop with designer Matěj Coufal, we will talk more about material recycling in architecture and design. You will then make a lamp from the materials from the exhibitions under the guidance of the designer and our lecturers.
Matěj Coufal graduated from the Product Design Studio at UMPRUM and together with Eduard Herrmann led the successful studio Herrmann & Coufal. In 2024, he founded his own studio, PLAYFORM, where he specializes in the handmade production and design of interior products from recycled paper. His work includes projects guided by the principles of sustainability, such as hand-crafted production, use of local resources, re-use and recycling, social responsibility, zero waste or low-tech approaches. During his practice, he won a number of prestigious awards, such as the Czech Grand Design Award, the ELLE Decoration International Award, the BIG SEE Award or the Red Dot Award.

Practical information
The workshop lasts 3 hours, 5:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
The program is intended for adults and for parents with children from 9 years of age.
Children from 9 years of age can only participate if accompanied by their parents. The workshop is not suitable for children under 9 years of age.
1 ticket is valid for 1 adult or 1 adult with a child from 9 years of age.
The ticket price includes materials, rental of tools and cooperation with the designer. You will take home your own product from the workshop.
