Blow? Or transform? Come help clean up CAMP and give things a second life at the same time. Under the guidance of experienced designers, for whom recycling is a natural part of creation, we will work with materials from exhibitions - from paper to banners to plywood and other elements of installations. You will take away your own piece of CAMP and experience how to think differently about the material.
During the afternoon, under the guidance of artist Denisa Švachová, you will sew a large or small bag from old exhibition banners.
Denisa Švachová is a visual artist and designer working in Zurich. She graduated from the Intermedia studio at AVU in Prague and the Fine Arts studio from ZHdK in Zurich. In his work, he combines scenography, video and participatory formats. She is the founder of the Seed Office project, which focuses on upcycling and sharing through hands-on workshops. In his practice, he works mainly with recycled and found materials, and through his creations he opens up questions about the relationship with nature, resources and everyday habits. It is possible to come during the mentioned time, but expect one hour to create a bag or half an hour to make a wallet.
The program is intended for adults and for parents with children from 9 years of age.
Children from 9 years of age can only participate if accompanied by their parents. The workshop is not suitable for children under 9 years of age.
1 ticket is valid for 1 adult or 1 adult with a child from 9 years of age.
The ticket price includes materials, rental of tools and cooperation with the designer. You will take home your own product from the workshop.
