About event
Join a unique workshop with lecturer Dominika Čupková, an interdisciplinary designer who connects the dots between AI, art, design and technology.
Nowadays, our virtual and physical lives are almost completely connected. The boundaries between virtual and physical, online and offline, and gender are blurring, and artificial intelligence is increasingly entering the picture. Can we together generate ideas for a viable future of emancipation and gender justice?
In a lecture combined with a workshop, we will explore together the various problems that women and other marginalized groups face in the digital environment. Together we will explore and seek answers to questions such as:
- How can we fight digital inequality and initiate social change?
- What is (gender) bias in artificial intelligence?
- How can it be dangerous or even harmful?
- Why are there so many female robots?
- Can feminist and queer practices influence the future of technology?
The workshop is intended for curious persons of different genders, backgrounds and industries. Previous knowledge of artificial intelligence is not necessary - even not having it can be an advantage.
Date: NOV 23, 8:30 a.m.
Place: Kasárne/Kulturpark, Kukučínova 2, Bravo, MeetUp space, Košice
The number of places is limited. Mandatory free registration: https://forms.gle/umCpyn3xGWCXYfcj7
