Workshop eeefff: Škola algoritmické solidarity: lze zakódovat kolonialismus?

The workshop of the artistic duo eeefff will take place in the Rudolfinum Gallery on Monday, June 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Entry is free. The results of the workshop will be part of the artwork eeefff, which will be seen in the exhibition DATAS: The Data and the Sovereign.

The school of algorithmic solidarity: can colonialism be coded?

We invite you to a speculative public space where we will explore how digital instructions shape our everyday lives. During the meeting, we will look at the recently leaked source code of the largest IT corporation originating from Russia. Yandex source codes were copied in July 2022 and published on the Internet on January 25, 2023. The volume of leaked data is 44.71 gigabytes in compressed form. The artistic duo eeefff suggests a collective reading of the code. No programming or other skills are necessary to participate. eeefff will conduct the entire workshop and prepare a tool for searching inside the code.

The workshop will be held in English. Capacity is limited, so registration is required to participate. Interested parties are requested to reserve seats by e-mail at [email protected].
