About event
(𝘌ንንድለም የድድድ𝘸)
The workshop presents the results of the artistic research Blurrylingualism – a meeting between languages, which the performance artists Florent Golfier-Brechmann, Baxi Ostrowski and Michaela Dašková have been carrying out since 2023. The artistic team investigated the physical reaction to linguistic "misunderstanding" through collective choreography practice.
🇮🇩🇨🇿🇬🇶🇫🇷🇨🇱🇸🇰🏳️🌈🇭🇺
The creators will share the exercises and tools they created during the research and which playfully work with multilingualism, mixing languages and finding new meaning where the old one has disappeared.
🛠 Part of the workshop is the presentation and baptism of the tool - a publication in which the researched exercises are described in detail.
The workshop can be especially beneficial for students and professionals from the fields of linguistics, choreography, performative studies and drama education, and it can also be appreciated by people connecting literature and physicality, dance and voice and people in education and social services who work with bilingual and multilingual groups.
The whole event is an invitation to the "language greenhouse", where new ways of gaining collective experience are cultivated and where diversity is nurtured.

The artists explored the physical response to linguistic 'misunderstanding' through a collective choreographic practice. Authors will be sharing the developed tools and exercises, which were created during research. Exercises playfully work with multilinguality, blurring of languages and finding new meanings there, where the old meanings vanished.
