Workshop 1 - Introduction
This workshop is designed for beginners and focuses on the basic principles of portrait drawing. Participants will become acquainted with the materials used and adopt basic techniques to correctly display the portrait. The content of the workshop is an introduction to the composition, drawing proportions, linear drawing and carbon shading. The practical part will be carried out by gypsum casting of 2D (ie the model). Participants will work with a plaster cast of bust, allowing a deeper understanding of the proportions and structure of the head. In addition to improving classic carbon shading, participants will become acquainted with advanced shading techniques, including the use of dry and greasy pastel. Participants will become acquainted with the methods of automatic writing and drawing and their application in art. The aim is to support individual expression and work of original works of art. The workshop also includes acquaintance with the basic techniques of watercolor, ink and other art tools. Specifically, they will work with watercolor, marker, copy paper and pastel. Participants will create an original work of art and adopt the way to build a comprehensive self -portrait with subjects that reflects their individual personality.
