About event
Volunteers Eva (European Solidarity Corps) and Anička (Young Office Žilina) are invited to a cyanotype workshop.
Cyanotype is an alternative photographic technique where you learn to create photograms using chemistry and light. We will prepare the background together, assemble the images of the objects that we will illuminate, and then wash off the chemistry.
We can also work with photography, but you must bring your own photos. The largest available format we can work with is A3 and the photos must be printed in black and white, in negative, contrast and on foil.
We will provide pressed plants/leaves and a few old photos on foil.
What to bring:
- clothes or an apron that you are not afraid to get dirty
- if you have sensitive skin, gloves for work
- canvas bag, cotton T-shirt, etc., on which you will create photograms
…
FREE ADMISSION – but the number of participants is limited, so please register in advance at [email protected].

The event is organized by foreign volunteer Eva as part of her stay under the European Corps solidarity in cooperation with Young Office Žilina.
