Join us for a relaxed summer afternoon full of art and creativity under Rondlo na Stanici! The workshop is an invitation to discover the world of linocut, a versatile embossing technique that allows you to carve your own designs and turn them into unique prints on paper, fabric, clothing and more.
Under the guidance of volunteers, Emma and Elena, who both have experience in graphics, you will get to know the basics of linocut: from learning about materials and tools to the printing process and experimenting with different surfaces and colors! Everyone will have the opportunity to design, cut and print their own creations. We will provide linoleum blocks, carving tools, paints, paper and fabric for testing and free experimentation. The workshop will also focus on textile printing. We will provide fabric scraps to create your own patches, but attendees are encouraged to bring a bag, t-shirt, or any fabric item you would like to personalize with your own print.
Expect good company, creative energy, refreshments, and an afternoon spent making art together and meeting new people! No previous experience is necessary - the workshop is open to anyone interested in creating.
