Workshop Mural da Biodiversidade - Lisboa

« The Biodiversity Mural » is an international workshop created in France inspired by the Climate Mural, which aims to discover biodiversity as well as the causes and consequences of its erosion.

If the workshop is too expensive for you, do not hesitate to contact us: [email protected]

How the workshop works:

The workshop is based on a game of cards that are organized in a systematic way.

The first part of the game allows participants to build an ecosystem and analyze the impact of human actions on that ecosystem.

The second part of the game has 39 cards, each one helps to understand what biodiversity is, what it allows and what destroys it.

Teams are defined that are guided by a facilitator.

This step-by-step reconstruction provides clues for participants to understand the complexity of the topic and develop an overview of biodiversity and action steps to mitigate them.

The workshop program:

- A brief history of the Biodiversity Mural

- Icebreaker

- Reconstruction of an ecosystem, then reconstruction of the Biodiversity Mural

- A short break, if necessary

- Creative phase and customization of the Mural

- Debrief + reflection to share, express thoughts and feelings

- Exploration of action cues on an individual and collective scale.
