About event
Košice's cultural and creative sector has great potential. He has accumulated a lot of experience over the past ten years. However, it also faces specific challenges. At the workshop on January 20 in Kasárňy/Kultuprark at 1:00 p.m., we will bring together a select group of professionals from this diverse and important sector, including key personalities, city representatives and experts who know the Košice ecosystem well.
Together we will imagine and explore some innovative policies that are currently missing in our environment, but which you have always wished were available. We will discuss together and try to create the three most promising experimental ideas for policies that could change the way creative professions in Košice thrive on a new level.

◾️ Main objectives of the workshop
At the workshop you will have the opportunity to participate in a discussion about innovative approaches in local politics (e.g. universal creative income, subsidized coworking spaces, creative centers using artificial intelligence, residency programs between different sectors, experimental micro-grants). We will investigate what impact these ideas could have, how to implement them in the Slovak environment, especially in Košice. You will help us improve arguments and strategies that will serve as a basis for future city initiatives and real projects.
