About event
CREATE YOUR OWN BOWL, CUPS or VASE.
Come and spend your Saturday afternoon doing something creative. The workshop is intended for those who would like to learn an interesting clay processing technique. Utility ceramics can be created in different ways - spinning on a potter's wheel, modeling or casting into a mold. You will work with earthenware, noble clay, from which the fired sherd is more durable and of better quality.
You will choose the molds yourself and make bowls, glasses or flowerpots, which you will decorate colorfully with engobes. You will learn how to glue the eye and decorate the surface of the cast using templates. After your creations have dried, the lecturers will fire them in a ceramic kiln (at 1100 degrees). Two weeks after the workshop, you will come to our Atelier to pick up your pieces.
