About event
🔵 How to tell a story without words? And how can an ordinary movement or an everyday gesture be transformed into a theatrical event? 🎭✨
In contrast to our open outdoor events at Letní Letná, this time we invite you to an intensive indoor workshop in the intimate environment of a marquee, where you will go deeper!
The body in motion workshop will present physical theater in its various forms under the guidance of lecturers from the HAMU Department of Nonverbal Theater.
What will you try at the workshop?
🔹 Basic movement techniques and work with with your own body
🔹 Creation of author's etudes and physical scores
🔹 Working with a theater mask
👤 Lecturers: Roman Horák, Hana Strejčková and students of KND HAMU
🎯 For whom: Those interested in movement forms of theater (suitable for beginners and intermediate)
👕 What to bring/wear: Comfortable clothing for movement. For the part of the work with the mask, we recommend darker, plain clothes.
📍 Venue: Letní Letná - Letní location, tent no. 7
⏰ Time: Sunday 23/08/2026, 10:00 – 13:00
🎟️ Admission: Free (subject to registration via the form)
⚠️ ATTENTION: This workshop is closed and has limited capacity. Participation is free, but prior registration via the form here is REQUIRED:
