We invite you to the Ethnographic Museum for a dyeing course with natural dyer and artist Jana Šobáňová.
🟦 We will reveal the secret of the mythical blue dye called INDIGO and experience dyeing in an ecological indigo tub for ourselves.
🟦 We will learn about the plants from which INDIGO - the "blue gold" of natural dyers - is prepared, and we will talk about the history of indigo dyeing in our country and around the world.
🟦 We will dye a napkin made of fine wool fabric decorated with the Shibori technique.
🕙 Course times:
• 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
👉 The course is intended for adults and children from 8 years old. Children under the age of 15 can only participate accompanied by an adult, thank you for your understanding.
