🟡 The National Film Archive invites you to public lectures as part of the art screening workshop.
Every two years we organize a workshop that offers a comprehensive overview of knowledge of the projectioner's profession as part of a classical film projection course. Lectures of this workshop are also open to the professional public, which wants to expand its horizons in the field of classical projection.
📽️ The aim of the course is to maintain a classic film screening in Czech cinemas. This would not be possible without qualified staff, which needs specific skills for screening archive film copies. The National Film Archive strives for maximum protection of film copies that are not just film work carriers, but also historical artifacts. People who come into contact with them must therefore be trained to know how to take care of the national film heritage.
Admission to lectures is free. Every evening, from 18:00, projections for the public at Ponrepo cinema will be followed by free admission to the course.

lectures that take place on 26 to 27. The Ponrepo Cinema Hall is also open to the professional public (eg cinemas, cinema staff, studying film sciences).
