About event
Let's breathe new life into used inflatables!
At the workshop we will create, for example: aprons for working in the garden, a basket for collecting leaves and weeds, or practical organizers for seeds and small things for the garden. We will create using a melt gun, hole punches and jewelry accessories. The material will be secured, we collect second-hand inflatables. Don't hesitate to come with the children too and convey to them the idea that things that have reached their end of life don't have to end up in the trash.
The workshop will be led by Tamara Tóthová Markovičová. Tamara is a clothing designer (for example, she created under the brand We Are Not Sisters) and an activist who combines creativity with an ecological approach. As a member of the Concerned Mothers organization and a member of the Time to Slow down initiative, she is actively involved in the topics of sustainability and responsible living in the city. He hosts the Respectful City podcast, where he openly discusses topics that make cities better. Now he invites you to an upcycling workshop, where together you will give old inflatables a new life.
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Community Garden on Suti!
