About event
Workshop: Water elements in the garden
Come and create small waterworks that will enrich the garden of the cultural center station with water life and diversity. Mini ponds and watering will improve the environment for people. They also provide space for life for plants and animals and allow them to refresh, drink or bathe. A practical workshop will show you how to bring water back to the garden by simple steps - for joy, beauty and sustainability. The lecture will present simple and more complex ways of retention of water in the urban environment - from containers and small water tanks, green roofs and facades, to the possibility of retention of water in the soil. You will learn why water is crucial for greenery and people, and what potential also the use of waste water. He works as a lecturer at permaculture courses in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has practice in ecological agriculture as well as in family, community and permaculture farms in New Zealand. He graduated from the extensive fruit fruit course at the Mendel University in Brno. At the station he lectured and helped create a green roof on the Community Workshop Recycel, which has been operating maintenance -free for 7 years.
