Workshopy v ekocentru Prales | listopad/prosinec 2024

Are you attracted to folk crafts or do you just want to try something new and perhaps make an original gift? Do you like working with natural materials and don't have the space or the necessary equipment to do so at home? From autumn to spring, we traditionally offer a wide range of handicraft meetings where you can use your skill and creativity. Let yourself be tempted by the smell of wood, herbs or beeswax, make a wooden bowl, leather belt, herbal ointment, soap or kokedama. Try the napkin technique, thread art or skin from a pedig. You can liven up your garden with a homemade feeder, birdhouse or insect hotel. We look forward to seeing you in Dřevák in the Prales ecocentre every Tuesday evening.

In autumn, nature changes its color, fruits ripen and leaves fall. Let's bring a bit of the autumn atmosphere home. We will use what nature has to offer and make decorations from colored leaves or animals from pine cones, chestnuts or nuts.

Would you like to have your own feeder in your garden or balcony and observe the birds up close? With us, you will make just such a feeder, and in addition, you will learn to prepare a bird feast from suitable ingredients, so that you really help the birds. You will also find out what kind of bird visitors you can expect at your home.

The mysterious power of herbs our ancestors knew well. Why not go back to the roots and try to make cosmetics without chemical additives and dyes? We will use what nature offers us and prepare creams only from herbs and ointment bases.

Carving is one of the most fragrant craft, and it's not as difficult as it might seem. All you need is a piece of soft wood, good tools and skilled hands. We will provide you with the first two things and you can test the dexterity of your hands while making a simple wooden bowl.

U you will definitely not get dirty in our soap workshop! Let your imagination run wild and make a soap that will be truly unique. Not only will you give it your own color, scent and design, but you will also get a great Christmas present for your mother, grandmother or friend. **************************************

✂️ Napkin decoupage

Decoupage or the napkin technique is a very simple and fun activity, thanks to which you can decorate objects that over time have lost their beauty or could be more interesting. Thanks to it, you can turn an ordinary mason jar into a designer pencil stand or add a twist to an old wooden box. Come and try it yourself, it's not a science!
