About event
Dear dancers,
It is amazing how much we are moving forward as a dance community. You attend workshops of different lecturers from different countries, learn new things and get to know how dancing is done outside Slovakia. It is wonderful that we have the opportunity to visit large foreign festivals with many foreign lecturers of world names. You must have already understood that knowing a lot of figures is great, but it is much more important to understand the technique, understand the connection of movements and feel the dance. Only then can we really create dance and enjoy it to the fullest.
We managed to arrange a systematic cooperation with top instructors from Spain, Augustin Williams & Yagmur Yula.
Williams until he was sixteen he studied classical dance and ballet, funk, contemporary dance and jazz, alternating his studies with participation in many festivals. After discovering his love for Latin, he mainly devotes himself to line salsa and salsa ON2 / mamba, bachata and kizomba, which he teaches in Spain. He impressed us with his technique, elegant movement and consistent teaching methods, which focus on the correct basics and understanding of dance as such.
They form a harmonious dance couple with their partner Yagmur Yula. Yagmur has been dancing since she was little, after studying dance with many world-famous dancers and lecturers, she founded her own dance school in Turkey in 2014 and later went to Spain to deepen her dancing skills.
