About event
🎶 Members of the Jawa group try to preserve and reinterpret the musical heritage of the Syrian city of Aleppo, an ancient spiritual tradition, whose existence is currently threatened by a war conflict in Syria. The rich Sofian musical tradition has been transmitted for decades from generation to generation by oral submission. Nowadays, this art is in decline and it is important to keep it. To the style, which was originally interpreted by Capella, they gradually added musical instruments and made it easier to grab it for the current listener. Jawa perceives this music from a personal perspective and gives her its own vision, preserving the traditional forms of the Muwashah Soci -style in conjunction with oriental rhythms and Maqamami. Material from this album in the Khaled Alhafez Quartet adjustment - singing, percussion, youssef NASSif - Kanun, Tammam Alramadan - Ney and Marwan Fakir - violin. The planets orbiting the Sun and this meditation movement celebrate God and His creation in divine unity. Their concert is not only a musical performance, but it is also a manifestation of cultural resistance, spiritual continuity and preservation of the fragile tradition, which they carry further over the borders and across different generations. href = "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS3N8RMBAHS&t=7s"> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS3N8RMBAHS&t=7S
