About event
Poetic performance about the trip to the hereafter
A boy suddenly wakes up in an enigmatic, unknown place. He discovers that he ended up in the porch of Yanasei - a magical world, full of strange creatures. First he is afraid of everything that is new and he wants to go back home. He slowly gets to know the country and makes new friends. But there are also stupid and setbacks in this world. Before he finds peace in Yanasei, he will first have to deal with something from the past that continues to chase him.
Yanasei is back in the theaters. An enchanting dance and music performance for everyone from 6 years old about the trip to Yanasei (pronounced: Jan "Na See): Surinamese for the Hereafter.
Fantasievol and colorful, with live singing and modern variants of traditional Surinamese music.
“ Yanasei has been loss that once with a presentation is to present that with a presentation with presentation with that with a loss of that with a loss of those with a loss of that one with a loss of that one with a loss of that is once with a loss of that. Is that often moving that death is part of life, which can help to give grief a place. As a new artistic director of Danstheater Aya, you immediately dare to fall with the door. ” - Theaterkrant
