🖇☆🤍 Indie pop, post-punk, rave or all in one? Call Yasha 96!

🖇☆🤍 Jáchym Kovář, a Czech musician and producer based in Berlin, is not afraid to break genre boundaries. It combines indie pop with the nostalgia of nineties singers, post-punk, shoegaze and straightforward club electronics. He already drew attention to himself with his debut The Boy Who Came Here From The Dust and the subsequent concept record FILIP, which Headliner magazine included among the hundred best house records of the twenty-first century. Over the years, he has managed to materialize his own musical signature in a combination of melancholy and club energy.

🖇☆🤍 "Yasha 96's music is tender and danceable at the same time... songs that lift you up and carry you away," said Christoph Scharag of RBB Radio Fritz. The project received support from playlists such as New Music Friday CZ/SK and Neon, as well as from Czech radio stations Express and Radio 1 and Fenne Lily's podcast called Apathy Hour. This year he received the Anděl Award in the best video clip category.

🖇☆🤍 Yasha96 will perform with the whole band at ARŠA+.
