🌙 Yoga Nidra & Expressive Arts: Dive into the Wisdom of the Womb

The womb space is the seat of our wisdom and creative power, deeply connected to the Sacral Chakra (Svadhisthana)—the center of intuition, emotions, and feminine energy. It is a space of deep receptivity and creation, where ideas, dreams, and emotions are nurtured before they take form in the world.

At the same time, the womb is a hollow organ, a space where memories, emotions, and repressed or unexpressed energies can accumulate. To truly access its creative potential, we must first liberate it - releasing stored tension and stagnant energy. Through guided meditation and energetic work, we will reconnect with our natural flow and awaken our inner creative power.

In this 2 hour immersive workshop, we will explore the restorative and transformative power of Yoga Nidra, using art therapy techniques to express and integrate what emerges during the meditation - all within a safe, intimate space for introspection and self-expression.

🌀 WHAT IS YOGA NIDRA?
Yoga Nidra, also known as "yogic sleep," is a profound guided meditation that brings you into a deep state of relaxation between wakefulness and sleep. Practiced lying down in Savasana, it allows the body to fully rest while the mind remains aware, helping to release tension, access the subconscious, and restore balance.

Yoga Nidra works on three levels of relaxation—physical, mental, and emotional—gently guiding you into a state where deep healing can occur. But first and foremost, we must reclaim our right to rest. Rest is sacred; it is not a luxury but a necessity. By making space for true rest, we create the foundation for healing, transformation, and unlocking our inner potential.

💫 WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • A deep Yoga Nidra session to release stored emotions and reconnect with your womb and heart space
  • Expressive Art Therapy techniques to integrate and give shape to your experience

No prior experience needed.
This practice is open to all—whether you are new to meditation and creative expression or already on your journey.

No artistic skills required.
Bring any drawing materials you have at home (paper, colors, pastels, etc.).

WHAT TO BRING:

  • A journal (if you have one) or blank papers for reflections.
  • Colors (pencils, crayons - whatever you like to use).

  • Extra supplies will be offered.

Yoga props will be provided by the studio.

About the Facilitator:
Federica Laino, Yoga Nidra, Mindful Movement and Meditation Facilitator, Expressive Art Coach, Artist

I first encountered Yoga Nidra several years ago in India, and it was a profound turning point in my journey. This practice opened the doors to deep rest, inner exploration, and subconscious healing, allowing me to connect with parts of myself that had long been unheard.

Over time, I have come to recognize the power of Yoga Nidra as a gateway to intuition, creativity, and emotional release—especially for women. In a world that constantly demands our energy, reclaiming stillness and receptivity is an act of self-care, empowerment, and remembrance. But first of all, we need to reclaim our need for rest: rest is sacred, and it's something we have to make space for, if you want to heal and tap into our inner potential.

As my path unfolded, I also discovered the transformative potential of Art Coaching, a practice that helps us express, integrate, and give form to our inner experiences. Bringing these two powerful tools together—Yoga Nidra and expressive arts—I am creating a way to self-discovery and healing, one that feels especially meaningful for us women.

Sharing this practice has now become my mission. Through this work, I wish to offer a space where we can reconnect with our feminine essence, release what no longer serves us, and awaken the wisdom and creative force that already resides within.
