The four (bass) clarinetists in this program are at the beginning of their career. Jaime Peña Martínez presents his program (Not) an Answer, an audiovisual journey that invites you to explore spirituality, magical-religious thinking and its place in modern Western life. Meditative, profound and accessible.
Femke van den Bergh plays 'People of this place' by the Australian Felicity Wilcox, an auditory reflection on the multi-colored cultural heritage in Sydney.
Luis Miguel Aguilar and Brennan Hamilton-Smith are Master jazz students of bass clarinetist Joris Roelofs (Amsterdam Conservatory). They conclude the program with a jazz duo.
This concert is also part of the Bass Clarinet Festijn.
