Yumi Ito – First Time at Jazz Dock, Prague!

Original singer, pianist and composer with Japanese and Polish roots Yumi Ito and her band will perform for the first time at the Jazz Dock! Her work includes jazz, art-pop, electronica, free improvisation and neo-classical music, and she unobtrusively combines all these styles into original, urgent and authentic music. In his lyrics, he weaves stories about society—stories that matter, no matter how big or small, light or dark. Like a Zen master, he observes, sorts and records events with distance - accurately, focused and wise. Yumi Ito lives and works in Basel, performs regularly around the world and has shared the stage with artists such as Al Jarreau, Becca Stevens, Nils Petter Molvaer and Mark Turner.
