Z vlasti na galeje (PIETNA SPOMIENKA)

At the 350th anniversary of the Galley March to Naples, the ECAV Presidency in Slovakia invites members of the Church to a commemorative assembly "from homeland to Galej". It will be held on the eve of the repentance Sunday, on Saturday 23 August 2025 at 15.00, in front of the gate of the prison in Leopoldov. We want to remember with respect for our brave ancestors in faith and their martyrium; Personal suffering, which was also a testimony to faith. We want to strengthen ourselves with the Word of God, to learn by the interpretation of the ecclesiastical historian, to revive period testimonies of the imprisoned themselves. We put wreaths and flowers on a reverent place, unite in religious singing, prayer and determination to live today's Christian, evangelical life.
