How many species of life are hidden in Modřanská Rokli? You might be surprised! 🪲
Set out with Prague Museum entomologist Michal Vais to find the small inhabitants of the Libušské brook and the surrounding forests. 🌲
Where: crossroads at the Lípiny pond - next to the Poliklinika Modřany tram stop
When: 22/8/2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Meeting place: intersection at the Lípiny pond (50°0'14.9"N, 14°25'15.9"E) – next to the Poliklinika Modřany tram stop
Route: from the Modřanská roklí junction to the Libuš tram stop, at the end with an extension on the upper part of the slopes of the ravine (3.5 km + 1.5 km extension)
Who is the event suitable for: families with children 6-12 years, for teenagers 12-18 years, for adults 18+
Price: 100 CZK/person
150 CZK/child accompanied by 1 adult
100 CZK/each additional child or adult
What you can look forward to:
🪲 During the guided walk you will discover the world of bugs, butterflies, dragonflies, rattlesnakes and other invertebrates that you often don't even notice during a normal walk
🌲 You can enjoy a pleasant summer walk in the shade of the forest, interesting things from the life of insects and a view of nature from a completely different perspective
🥾 Take comfortable shoes, a drink and a snack with you

In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled and the entrance fee refunded.
