About event
Come to an inspiring discussion It's worth a try: You have a word with young people about young people. 🙌
You can look forward to a nice dose of inspiration, new opportunities and experiences. Get to know the stories of three inspiring young people and find out what was their first step on the way to their dream, what obstacles they had to deal with, what motivates them and what helps them not to burn out. 🔥
Already on November 28 at 17:00 in Kaviarni pod Strom at Námestí SNP 18 in Banská Bystrica, FREE ENTRY. 😎
Our guests:
💁♂️ Dominik Belica - Photographer, filmmaker, traveler and adventurer. At the age of 28, he fulfilled one of his dreams and made it to the North Pole. Slovak and foreign media noticed his breathtaking shots from Norway, Iceland and Italy. He has no problem getting up at half past three in the morning for the sake of a high-quality photo.
How did he find out what he wanted to do in life, why did he decide to start a business, and how, in addition to photography, filming and organizing the Hontfest festival, does he keep up with the role of a father?
🙋🏼♂️ Samuel Šadlák - Student and currently graduating from SPŠ J. Murgaš, who has so many projects and activities behind him that even many university students would not be ashamed of. He is a volunteer of the Show your talent development program, which he himself successfully completed, and the chairman of the Youth Parliament in Nová Bani.
Thanks to which he received a nomination for the Heart in the palm of his hand award, how he managed to win a medal of excellence in the Euroskills competition in Gdańsk and wants to make a living as a programmer in the future?
🎤 Moderator of the discussion: Matej Rudnický
He is a graduate of the Show program your talent, studies at the United School of Business, works part-time at STVR and moderates various events.
🤔What is it? It's worth a try: Do you have a word?
The main idea of the discussions " It's worth a try" is to contribute to the development of the character of young people and their activity. That's why we want to introduce young people to brave young people (both in age and spirit) who are the bearers of a positive example of how to do something that has meaning, that they enjoy at the same time and that even changes people's lives all around.
For this time we teamed up with the Máš slová initiative, which also organizes interesting discussions in cafes. We want to inspire young people to not be afraid to take the first step towards their idea, volunteering or their own project.
