About event
🌍 Do you want to travel abroad, gain experience and inspiration?
Come to an inspiring discussion and find out how to find a part-time job or study abroad, capture the world with your own idea and gain the courage to take the first step towards your dream.
Get to know the stories of three young people (age and spirit) who were not afraid to go out into the world, overcame obstacles and returned home with the goal of something to change. 🔥
👥 Our guests:
MARTINA CÁDER, MSc.
A graduate of international business at the Hult International Business School in San Francisco, who also expanded her experience in Dubai or London. She worked for UNICEF Somalia, the Hult Prize Foundation and the United Nations.
Today she works as an executive assistant to the CEO of Be Lenka - one of the fastest growing barefoot brands in the world. 🌍
👉 How does he feel about returning home? What did abroad give her and what did she take away?
JOZEF GÁBORÍK
Innovator and founder of the brand Grizzly.ski, which produces some of the lightest ski mountaineering bindings in the world 🎿.
From the home workshop to the world market – Jozef's story is proof that perseverance and passion bring results. 💪
👉 How many attempts, falls and failures did it cost him before he got to the top?
LUKÁŠ PRIŠKIN
Founder of the social enterprise Deeply, which gives work to people with health or social disadvantages.
From his experience in America, he created a successful Slovak project combining business and helping others. He won the Social Impact Award Slovakia and also spoke at TEDxBratislava.
👉 How did the idea of Deeply come about and what constantly motivates it to continue?
🎙️ Moderator: Zuzana Pastierová
Coordinator of mentors of the Show your talent program at OZ TEAM and former coordinator at the Center for Volunteerism
💬 What is "It's worth a try"?
Discussions under this name inspire young people not to be afraid to try, do meaningful things and transform their dreams to reality.
We want to show that courage and passion can change not only our lives, but also the world around us.
