Experience the unique story of almost a year's stay in the Philippines, where I went from student to freediving instructor and at the same time built my own traditional Filipino boat. With her I sailed through this fascinating country full of incredible scenery and islands. In my spare time I volunteered for the local rescue service and experienced the crazy situations and unexpected twists and turns that only life in the Philippines can bring.

Marek Balicki – Rescuer on the go
Paramedic, former firefighter and instructor of freediving and experiential first aid. Marek embarked on an adventurous journey from the heart of Europe to Japan on a folding bike, sailed through the Philippines on his own boat, traveled through New Zealand in a camper van, Australia on a city scooter, South America on a motorcycle and Cuba on a scooter. In each country, he visited local firefighters and rescuers to share experiences and stories. He also actively helped where possible, for example in the rescue service in the Philippines.
