About event
🍿 Let's welcome the summer with another continuation of the great animated series TOY STORY 5: TOY STORY. As part of the Film Summer in Amfik, we screen the fairy tale on the eve of the first day of summer - 20 June and at the end of the school year - 26 June 🍿
🧸 TOY STORY 5: TOY STORY
(dir. A. Stanton/M. Harris, USA, 2026, 102 min, SD)
The favorite group of toys returns in a new adventure that brings them a challenge relevant to today's world. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and Forky discover that the world of the children's room is no longer just about fantasy and classic games. Modern technology enters their lives - a smart tablet in the shape of a frog with the nickname Froglet - and with it a completely new order. While before it was enough to compete for a child's attention between stuffed animals and plastic heroes, now toys have to cope with the competition of digital entertainment that can absorb all their time and imagination. The frog quickly becomes the center of attention, and Woody and Buzz question what place classic toys have in a world of touchscreens and apps.
🗣️ We are showing the film with Slovak dubbing.
The screening will take place in Amfik on Festival square and will start after dark. You can buy tickets online, at the ticket office of Kina Úsmev or directly on the spot before the event. The box office opens one hour before the start of the screening and closes half an hour after the start.
